Digital Opportunity Trust is a Local NGO, member of the DOT networks in countries throughout Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.
DOT is an innovator in enabling people to access and apply information and communications technologies (ICT) to create education, economic and entrepreneurial opportunities. DOT’s vision is to make these opportunities available to marginalized people, especially women and youth, as a strategy to eradicate poverty, vulnerability and gender inequality. DOT’s signature entrepreneurship programs, ReachUp! and StartUp!, integrate ICT, life skills, and micro-enterprise development and are delivered in a cost-effective manner, using university graduates to train and build the capacity of youth in their communities. DOT transforms and supports young women and men, as they become leaders of economic and educational change in their societies.
As a Mobile Application Trainer, you will work to support the implementation of DOT’s Youth Digital Program in Lebanon, working from the local Innovation Lab and on Field supporting a group of Youth on Mobile Applications Development.
The position will see you reflecting excellent people, communication, and ICT skills. This position requires a person who can easily adapt to change and can manage working under pressure, multitasker, innovative in finding solutions and thinking outside the box. The position will see you demonstrating 21st century skills in assigned Innovation Labs across Lebanon, as you will be working proactively and collaborating with Youth and partners on creation and developing Mobile apps, you will be working as part of DOT Lebanon country team also, you will be working independently and managing your own administrative work and working to deadlines under the guidance of the Area Manager.
