Under the DRASATI II program, and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minster of Education and Higher Education Mr. Elias Bou Saab, in coordination with the General Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE) a Graduation ceremony was organized on 6 July 2015, from 11:00 to 13:00, at the UNESCO Palace to celebrate the achievements of the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) component, implemented in 126 public schools across Lebanon.

BEIRUT - November 18, 2016 – Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Lebanon and its partners launched the Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Mapping for Lebanon.

TechWomen empowers the next generation of women leaders in technology. The program sends women from the MENA region to Northern California for mentorship. These women also take part in an exchange program in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mariam Haidar is one of the TechWomen beneficiaries. Mariam is a computer science graduate working in education across Lebanon and Syria. She worked as an Area Manager and Program Manager for DOT Lebanon. While at DOT, her passion for approaching education in new innovative ways grew.

DOT Lebanon and SAP Refugee Code Week

DOT Lebanon partnered with software corporation, SAP on initiative called Refugee Code Week. SAP is a world leader in enterprise software. The German corporation makes enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. Refugee Code Week partners also included UNHCR the UN Refugee Agency and Galway Education Centre.
