Women in Technology: Power of Tomorrow
DOT Lebanon's Women in Technology: Power of Tomorrow (also known as "Let's Communicate") trained 119 vulnerable women and girls living in the Ein El Hilwi Palestine Refugee Camp on information, communication, technology, and business skills with an emphasis on navigating women-specific issues and empowerment.
Through this program, 119 women were introduced to technology and entrepreneurship through DOT's ReachUp! program. 20% of the women who participated in the project are girls between 15 and 18 years of age who have dropped out of school.
The Women in Technology: Power of Tomorrow project is implemented by DOT Lebanon in partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
Women in Technology: Power of Tomorrow Project Details:
Objectives: Train 100 vulnerable women and girls from the Ein El Hilwei Palestine Refugee Camp in information, communications, technology, and business skills with an emphasis on women's empowerment through DOT's ReachUp! program.

Summary:
- Two youth leaders (DOT Interns) equipped with protection, advocacy, technology, and leadership skills, were trained to deliver programs promoting the use of technology for advocacy and entrepreneurship.
- 119 women and girls trained on information, communications, technology, and business skills with an emphasis on women's empowerment through the ReachUp! program.
- 20% of the women who are participating in the program are girls between 15 and 18 years of age who have dropped out of school.
