Programs
DOT Lebanon delivers training programs that equip vulnerable populations and people with entrepreneurship and technology skills. DOT Lebanon's programs are delivered by young new graduates from Lebanese universities ("DOT Interns") who act as trainers, mentors, and coaches and become ambassadors of change in their communities.
DOT Lebanon facilitates the ReachUp! and ScaleUp! programs in Lebanon through projects delivered in partnership with various national, international, and community-based organizations.
The following are projects that have been established to deliver the ReachUp! and ScaleUp! programs in Lebanon:
- Activating Communities Through Technology and Innovation in the North, in partnership with the US Embassy in Lebanon
- Activating Communities Through Technology (ACT) is a project in partnership with the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), Intel Corporation, Al Tajamoh, and the Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA).
- Modern Voices for Protection, in partnership with the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (through the Canadian Embassy in Lebanon)
- Women in Technology: The Power of Tomorrow, in partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)
- Sharik: Entrepreneurship and Employability for Development, in partnership with the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (through the Canadian Embassy in Lebanon)
- Connected Communities and Business Initiative Program (CCBI), in partnership with the Partnership for Lebanon and Cisco Systems
- Wakib: Income Generation Through ICT, in partnership with the Canadian International Development Association (CIDA)
