Tell me about yourself!

I'm simply a person who likes to get more and more information; it's vital to me, like to communicate with people and I'm very good at it. What I want it to say is that we are Palestinian we can do hard and we are people that don't have anything impossible and I'm one of those people.

My interest is to make our community better and give my knowledge to others and on the other hand learn from others.

What DOT country team do you work for, and how long have you been with DOT?

DOT Lebanon, since 2010Image0328.jpg

How did you first get involved with DOT?

I was a volunteer in NAVTSS at AHLAMONA Center and they let me know and they have helped me to get involve.

What program do you deliver, and where?

I have delivered the ReachUp! Program in the Bourj El Barajneh Palestinian Camp in Beirut

They are group of women, youth (girls and boys) aged between 16 to 50 years old; we also have nurses and doctors from the hospital camp that came and took the training with us.

Have you met with any challenges while delivering your program, and if so how have you overcome them?

The challenges i have faced is the gap between the ages and the way of thinking between one and another inside the group, I have act with them in a simple way and i choose my examples carefully to give the idea in a good way in order to make sure that all the participants could understand it

What do you hope to do after your Internship?

My hope is to keep working and make my society a better place

What has been your favourite part of being a DOT Intern so far?

The fact that I have got more knowledge

Mohamad - How does it feel to be a DOT Intern..? Am sure it sounds good.... DOT opens all the learning opportunities for young men and women for them to gain competent working experience through delivering Reach Up! Program. Congratulations for your good work since 2010.
