The project focuses on empowering female entrepreneurs in Lebanon with business, product, and market development skills. Delivered in partnership with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and the René Moawad Foundation, and delivered through Tomorrow's Youth Organization, the program will see two DOT Lebanon Interns provide Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) training to 10 entrepreneurial women from villages in the North of Lebanon.

The two DOT Lebanon Interns who will be facilitating the training are DOT Alumni who previously worked with DOT Lebanon to empower vulnerable groups with ICT skills. Hassan Mostafa was a DOT Lebanon Intern in 2009 and facilitated training classes for the WAKIB: Income Generation Through ICT project. Layal Sadek was a DOT Lebanon Intern in 2010, and facilitated training classes for the SHARIK: Entrepreneurship and Employability project.

DOT Lebanon would like to extend thanks to the partner organizations who have made this project possible.

About the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women:

The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women charity was set up in September 2008 in response to Cherie's experiences meeting women around the world and the realisation that, with the right support, women can overcome the challenges they face and play an important part in the economies and societies in which they work and live. The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women invests in women entrepreneurs so they can build and expand their businesses - and in doing so benefit not only themselves but also their families and communities.
