A consortium of five Lebanese NGOs under the leadership of the Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF), is launching a new project called “Improved Livelihoods for Underprivileged Women in North Lebanon,” funded by the European Commission.

In partnership with DOT Lebanon, the Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF), MADA, the Committee for the Follow-up on Women's Issues (CFUWI) and Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL), the project will improve social and economic wellbeing of women living in underserved rural areas in North Lebanon.

On September 1, 2012, DOT Lebanon launched a new project called “Activating Communities Through Technology and Innovation in the North – (ACTION)” funded by the U.S. Embassy Beirut Small Grants Program for Civil Society in Lebanon in coordination with Lebanese NGO Akkar Network Development (AND), and the Intel Corporation. The project will run for one year in three regions of Akkar, Lebanon: Wadi Khaled, Kobayat and Berkayel.

The Lebanese American University (LAU) invited DOT Lebanon to participate in its 3rd Annual LAU NGO Fair at the Byblos Campus on Wednesday May 23, 2012. The theme of this year's fair was "Unity is Strength."
